The Nightjar and the Robin (or how friendship began among birds)
My short story 'The Nightjar and the Robin' is inspired by the Burmese folktale 'How friendship developed among birds'. This story was written as part of The Nightjar Project by African Activities in the New Forest which uses the nightjar's migration from West African to the New Forest to tell stories of people's movements and discuss ideas around belonging.
